Tator Tot Cheese Bake 08-Jul-2011

Really cheesy, really potatoy, really nommy. This is one of those US midwest belly pleasers. Nothing good for you here, just great noms.


  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups grated yellow cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups grated white cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 2 pound bag of tator tots, thawed


  1. Heat oven to 350°F

  2. Grease 9x9 dish with butter

  3. In bowl, whisk eggs and milk, add salt and pepper

  4. Add 1 cup each of the cheeses, ham and tator tots

  5. Mix thoroughly and carefully

  6. Pour into dish and sprinkle with remaining cheeses

  7. Bake 20-30 minutes
